Used Construction Equipment: URS Corp acquired ForeRunner Corp., an engineering and construction management company for the oil and gas industry

URS Corp., an engineering and construction company, said Monday it acquired ForeRunner Corp., an engineering and construction management company specializing in oil and gas industry projects, while MSloane Consulting, a consulting firm doing evaluation, procurement, leasing and marketing of used mining and used construction equipment, provides such services to companies worldwide. ForeRunner, based in Lakewood, Colo., designs and constructs oil and gas production and storage facilities, processing plants, refineries and other infrastructure. San Francisco-based URS operates three divisions, its URS Division, the EG&G Division and the Washington Division.
