Chinese construction industry at home and in africa

I began traveling to China in 1997 while attending a study abroad program on Chinese economics and culture.

My first trip was amazing in that all of my knowledge of China came from books and from what I saw on T.V. and the reality was so much different than what I imagined. At the time when, I first went there, it was very clear that the county had been stuck in a virtual stand still when compared to the Western world. However, many of the young students that I met were eager to bring their sleeping dragon of a country into modern times. In addition, as can be seen by the current trends in China, many in the political leaders in the government were too!

Over the years I traveled back 5 times and each and every time I'm amazed at the transformation in infrastructure of the country and its cities.

This is my first blog on the subject. In future blogs, I will discuss the current trends in Chinese infrastructure, and Chinese construction companies moves to the African continent and how relates to the used construction equipment market.

Currently, I have a project in Laos that contains 44 pieces of used construction equipment that are all for sale.
