Heavy Equipment for Sale:

Heavy Equipment for Sale: The Wodgina direct shipping ore (DSO) project is located 100km south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. MSloane Consulting provides heavy equipment for sale worldwide. Wodgina is part of the Greater Abydos project and adjoins the great northern highway, the FMG railway line and BHPB railway line.

Wodgina’s production is expected to commence in January 2010 at a rate of 2mtpa. The production rate is expected to reach 3mtpa by June 2010. The initial production of the mine will be low-alumina fines-only products.

Atlas signed a facility agreement with Hedland Port Authority, to get access to public facility at Utah Point in November 2007. The five-year agreement with a three-year option allows export of 3mtpa by Atlas. Under the agreement, facility, berth, stockpile and handling area will be given to Atlas by PHPA on commercial rates.

Used Construction Equipment: UK Economy Expected to Grow in the Final Quarters of 09

Used Construction Equipment: The UK economy is expected to bounce back from recession through modest growth in the third and fourth quarters of this year. Constraints on demand though will ensure that growth in 2010 is fragile, the CBI said. It also said that the near-term economic prospects are brightening. A recovery is underway in the global economy, which has been boosted by substantial fiscal and monetary stimuli, and the inventory cycle is starting to turn, both at home and abroad, which is helping to lift production. However, the pace of recovery in 2010 is expected to be slow.

MSloane Consulting predicts demand for used construction equipment to increase in the UK in the coming months as the economy recovers even as deals are nowadays are fairly on the uptrend as companies turn to used construction equipment during hard times to manage their cashflow.

The CBI predicts that UK GDP will post quarter-on-quarter growth of 0.3% in 2009 Q3, edging up to 0.4% in Q4 as consumers bring spending forward in advance of the VAT increase in January. However, this will dampen spending in early 2010 and although companies may be rebuilding stocks, they are likely to do so very cautiously. As a result, 2010 should start with very weak growth of only 0.1% in Q1 2010, and 0.3% in Q2.

Heavy Equipment for Sale: Miner African Rainbow Announces Expansion

Heavy Equipment for Sale: African Rainbow Minerals (ARM), a diversified South African miner plans to invest in coal and platinum group metals (PGM) projects in Zimbabwe a report says..

"We are looking for PGMs and we are looking for coal. We are in discussion with a number of people in Zimbabwe to see whether there is something we can get on in terms of exploration," Dan Simelane, ARM's chief executive for exploration said in an interview on Wednesday.

He said authorities in Zimbabwe had improved the investment climate since the formation of a government by President Robert Mugabe and his rival Morgan Tsvangirai in February.

The new power-sharing government in Zimbabwe, which has the world's second-biggest platinum reserves after South Africa and large deposits of diamonds, coal and nickel, is keen to attract foreign mining companies to invest into a sector shunned due to fears that businesses could be expropriated.

Heavy Equipment for Sale: Report Shows Long Term Benefits of Gold Mining to Developing Economies

Heavy Equipment for Sale: Large-scale gold production has been found to be a major factor in bolstering the economies of developing countries, according to a key report issued today by the World Gold Council (WGC) in partnership with the International Council on Mining & Metals (ICMM) and Oxford Policy Management.

MSloane Consulting is ready to supply heavy equipment for sale for gold mining operations.

The new report, ‘The Golden Building Block: gold mining and the transformation of developing economies’, authored by Maureen Upton, Sustainability Advisor to World Gold Council, considers the macroeconomic benefits of gold production in developing countries. The report takes into account the well-debated resource curse theories, and examines evidence of actual contributions through an in-depth case study of Tanzania and the effects of gold mining on its economy over a 40-year period.

The report also reviews case studies undertaken within the ICMM’s Resource Endowment initiative, analysing the costs and benefits of mineral extraction in Chile, Ghana, Peru and Tanzania. The final section seeks to provide observations on policy approaches and conditions likely to positively impact the economic contribution of gold mining more generally across other developing countries.

Mining Equipment: EurOmax commences diamond drilling at Ceovishte project, Serbia

Mining Equipment: EurOmax Resources Limited announce that it has commenced a 13 square kilometre geophysical program and a 2,500 metre diamond drilling program at Ceovishte to test two large gold bearing breccia bodies.

During 2008 EurOmax completed a detailed mapping and soil geochemistry program defining a 6 kilometer long zone of strongly altered andesite volcanics and intrusives with abundant ancient mine workings. Drilling at the northern end of this trend by EurOmax in 2008 intersected multiple gossan and massive sulphide intervals, one of which reported 12.4 metres at 1.5% copper, 1.4% lead, 0.8% zinc, 62 g/t silver and 1.6 g/t gold. This program also defined a 3 kilometre by 2 kilometre magmatic complex at the southern end of the trend which remained undrilled in 2008. This feature is now the focus of the 2009 exploration program.
