Used Construction Equipment: Developments at One WTC

Used Construction Equipment: Construction at New York’s World Trade Center (WTC) site has met most of the milestones that were set last year keep the project on track, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) said.

MSloane Consulting provides used construction equipment to help projects swiftly go through the used construction equipment acquisition stage and meet target deadlines for milestones.

PANYNJ detailed its achievements in its first quarterly report on progress at the site after new targets were set in October 2008 to try and keep the scheme on track.

Despite meeting eight of the nine major milestones for quarter 4 in 2008 PANYNJ and Silverstein Properties missed its deadline for excavations at the sites of Tower 2 and Tower 4.

Those milestones that have been met include installing 1,600t of steel for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, completing the foundation for One WTC - the Freedom Tower - and beginning procurement of 22,000t of steel needed for the WTC Transportation Hub.
