Mining Equipment and $16.6M Rough Diamonds Sold

With mining equipment, Trans Hex, South African diamond producer produced about $16,6-million by selling 17 075 ct at the group’s July tender sale, it reported. MSloane Consulting on the other hand helps mining companies increase output with efficient mining equipment.

Trans Hex achieved an average price of $973/ct, which the company said reflected the upward rise in rough diamond prices since March.

In total, 86 stones in excess of ten carats were sold with 13 stones in excess of 20 ct and two stones in excess of 50 ct in weight.
