A high-power delegation led by British Deputy High Commissioner Sanjay Wadvani is on a two-day visit here to examine the scope for furthering business and investment ties.Speaking on the sidelines of a joint business session organised by the British Deputy High Commission and the Confederation of Indian Industry, Orissa chapter, Wadvani said the UK had extensive trade ties with India to the tune of 12.6 billion pound sterling and as many as 500 companies had invested here. India too had an investment of $ 9 billion with 200 companies.
